Feature Requests

How to submit feature requests, provide feedback, and help shape the DPC Pro roadmap.

Have an idea for a new feature or an improvement to an existing one? The DPC Pro team reviews all feature requests and uses them to prioritize the product roadmap.

Send your feature request by email to [email protected] with the subject line “Feature Request: [Your Idea]”.

Include the following in your request:

  1. What you want to do: Describe the task or workflow you are trying to accomplish.
  2. Why it matters: Explain how this feature would help your practice or your patients.
  3. How you work around it today: If you have a current workaround, describe it. This helps the team understand the urgency and impact.
  4. Any details or examples: Screenshots, mockups, or links to similar features in other tools are all helpful.

  1. Acknowledgment: You will receive a confirmation that your request was received, typically within one business day.
  2. Review: The product team reviews your request and evaluates it against the current roadmap and other requests.
  3. Prioritization: Requests that align with the product direction and are requested by multiple practices are prioritized higher.
  4. Updates: If your request is selected for development, you will be notified when it moves to the Upcoming Features roadmap.

Beyond feature requests, there are several ways to share feedback with the DPC Pro team:

  • Be specific: “I need a way to see which patients have not visited in 90 days” is more actionable than “Better patient tracking.”
  • Include context: Mention your practice size, how many providers you have, and how often you would use the feature.
  • One idea per request: Submitting separate requests for separate ideas makes it easier to track and prioritize each one.
  • Check existing features first: Search this documentation to make sure the feature does not already exist. If it does but does not work the way you need, explain what is different about your requirements.

Can I see what other practices have requested?

Section titled “Can I see what other practices have requested?”

The DPC Pro team is working on a public feature request board where you can view and vote on ideas from other practices. Until then, the team consolidates feedback internally and uses it to guide the roadmap.

Requests are evaluated based on:

  • Number of practices requesting the feature: Features requested by many practices are prioritized higher.
  • Impact on patient care: Features that directly improve patient outcomes or care delivery receive extra weight.
  • Alignment with product direction: Features that fit the long-term vision for DPC Pro are more likely to be built.
  • Implementation complexity: Smaller improvements that deliver significant value may be prioritized ahead of larger projects.

The team appreciates every suggestion. While individual attribution is not included in release notes, practices that contribute ideas are often among the first to preview new features.
