Mobile Access
DPC Pro works in your mobile browser. Check your schedule, respond to messages, and review patient records from your phone or tablet.
DPC Pro is a web application that adapts to different screen sizes. When you access it from a phone or tablet, the interface adjusts to fit the smaller display. There is no separate app to install. You use the same URL and login credentials as on your desktop.
This page covers what works well on mobile, what is optimized for larger screens, and security considerations for mobile access.

Features Optimized for Larger Screens
Section titled “Features Optimized for Larger Screens”Some features are designed for the desktop experience and may be less comfortable on a small phone screen:
Writing Clinical Notes
Section titled “Writing Clinical Notes”The note editor uses a three-panel layout (patient context, SOAP editor, visit context). On mobile:
- The left and right sidebars are accessible through menu buttons rather than displayed simultaneously.
- The SOAP editor fills the screen width.
- Typing long clinical notes on a phone keyboard is slower than on a desktop.
Calendar View
Section titled “Calendar View”The visual calendar grid (FullCalendar) displays better on larger screens. On mobile, the schedule list view is the more practical option for reviewing your day.
Reports and Analytics
Section titled “Reports and Analytics”Reports with wide tables and charts are easier to read on a desktop monitor. You can access them on mobile, but scrolling horizontally may be necessary.
Security Considerations
Section titled “Security Considerations”Protect Your Device
Section titled “Protect Your Device”When accessing patient data on a mobile device:
- Use a strong passcode, Face ID, or fingerprint lock on your device.
- Enable auto-lock so the screen locks after a short period of inactivity.
- Keep your device’s operating system and browser up to date.
- Do not access DPC Pro on shared or public devices.
Network Security
Section titled “Network Security”- Use your practice’s Wi-Fi or your personal cellular data connection.
- Avoid using public Wi-Fi networks (coffee shops, airports) when accessing patient records.
- If you must use a public network, connect through a VPN.
Session Management
Section titled “Session Management”- DPC Pro sessions expire after a period of inactivity. You will be prompted to log in again.
- Log out manually when you are done, especially on a shared device.
- If your device is lost or stolen, contact your practice manager to deactivate your session.
