Mobile Access

DPC Pro works in your mobile browser. Check your schedule, respond to messages, and review patient records from your phone or tablet.

DPC Pro is a web application that adapts to different screen sizes. When you access it from a phone or tablet, the interface adjusts to fit the smaller display. There is no separate app to install. You use the same URL and login credentials as on your desktop.

This page covers what works well on mobile, what is optimized for larger screens, and security considerations for mobile access.

  1. Open your mobile browser (Safari on iOS, Chrome on Android, or any modern browser).
  2. Navigate to app.dpcpro.com.
  3. Log in with your email and password, or use SSO if your practice has it configured.

On smaller screens, the sidebar navigation collapses into a menu that you can open and close. Tap the menu icon to access:

  • Dashboard
  • Patients
  • Schedule
  • Messages
  • Clinical Notes
  • Settings

The schedule list view works well on mobile. You can:

  • View today’s visits with patient names, visit types, and times
  • Filter by provider
  • Select a visit to view details and update status
  • Check in patients and mark visits as completed

The messaging inbox is fully functional on mobile:

  • View unread conversations
  • Read full message threads
  • Type and send replies
  • Review and send AI-drafted replies (if enabled)
  • Star and archive conversations

You can access patient records on mobile to:

  • View demographics and contact information
  • Check medical history (allergies, conditions, medications)
  • See membership status
  • Navigate to clinical notes

The dashboard adapts to mobile with stat cards stacking vertically. You can review:

  • Today’s patient count and check-in status
  • Unread message count
  • Recent activity

Some features are designed for the desktop experience and may be less comfortable on a small phone screen:

The note editor uses a three-panel layout (patient context, SOAP editor, visit context). On mobile:

  • The left and right sidebars are accessible through menu buttons rather than displayed simultaneously.
  • The SOAP editor fills the screen width.
  • Typing long clinical notes on a phone keyboard is slower than on a desktop.

The visual calendar grid (FullCalendar) displays better on larger screens. On mobile, the schedule list view is the more practical option for reviewing your day.

Reports with wide tables and charts are easier to read on a desktop monitor. You can access them on mobile, but scrolling horizontally may be necessary.

When accessing patient data on a mobile device:

  • Use a strong passcode, Face ID, or fingerprint lock on your device.
  • Enable auto-lock so the screen locks after a short period of inactivity.
  • Keep your device’s operating system and browser up to date.
  • Do not access DPC Pro on shared or public devices.
  • Use your practice’s Wi-Fi or your personal cellular data connection.
  • Avoid using public Wi-Fi networks (coffee shops, airports) when accessing patient records.
  • If you must use a public network, connect through a VPN.
  • DPC Pro sessions expire after a period of inactivity. You will be prompted to log in again.
  • Log out manually when you are done, especially on a shared device.
  • If your device is lost or stolen, contact your practice manager to deactivate your session.

  • Verify you have a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular).
  • Clear your browser cache and try again.
  • Ensure you are using a supported browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
  • Confirm you are using the correct email and password.
  • If your practice uses SSO, select Log in with SSO and follow the identity provider prompts.
  • If you are locked out, contact your practice manager to verify your account is active.
  • Rotate your device to landscape for wider content (reports, tables).
  • If text is too small, use your browser’s zoom feature or your device’s accessibility settings.
