Dashboard Overview

The dashboard is your starting point in DPC Pro: a real-time snapshot of your schedule, messages, billing status, and practice activity.

When you log in to DPC Pro, the dashboard gives you an immediate sense of what needs attention. Clinicians see their upcoming visits and unread messages. Managers see billing alerts, enrollment numbers, and practice-wide metrics. The dashboard adapts to your role and surfaces the information most relevant to your responsibilities.

The dashboard updates in real time as events occur throughout the day, so you always see current data without refreshing the page.

The dashboard is organized into a main content area and a sidebar. The main area shows stat cards across the top, followed by activity and financial sections below. The sidebar shows recent messages and alerts.

If your organization has multiple practices, the dashboard reflects whichever practice you have selected in the practice switcher. When set to All Practices, the dashboard aggregates data across every practice in your organization.

Four stat cards appear at the top of the dashboard:

CardWhat It Shows
Today’s PatientsNumber of visits scheduled for today, with a count of patients currently checked in and waiting
Active MembersTotal enrolled members across all active memberships
New MembersPatients who enrolled during the current calendar month
Unread MessagesTotal unread messages across patient conversations, team threads, and broadcast replies

Each card links to its corresponding section. Select Today’s Patients to open the schedule, or Unread Messages to open the inbox.

The dashboard displays a summary of today’s scheduled visits. Each entry shows the patient name, visit time, and status (scheduled, checked in, in progress, or completed). Cancelled and rescheduled visits are excluded from the count.

To see full schedule details:

  1. Select the Today’s Patients stat card, or
  2. Navigate to ScheduleAppointments in the sidebar.

The right sidebar shows your most recent messages and alerts.

The dashboard shows the five most recent message threads relevant to your account. For each thread, you see:

  • The sender’s name and initials
  • The thread subject
  • A preview of the last message
  • An unread badge if the thread has unread messages
  • How long ago the last message was sent

Select any message to open the full conversation in the messaging system.

Below recent messages, the dashboard shows your five most recent alerts. Alerts are generated automatically when events occur in your practice:

Alert TypeTrigger
Document signedA patient signs a document
Document assignedA document is assigned to a patient
Document expiredA patient’s document passes its expiration date
Appointment bookedA new visit is scheduled
Appointment cancelledA visit is cancelled
Patient registeredA new patient completes registration
Patient messageA patient sends a new message
Payment receivedA payment processes successfully
Payment failedA payment attempt fails
Membership cancelledA membership is cancelled

Each alert shows a title, message, priority level, and a link to the relevant record. You can dismiss alerts individually by selecting the dismiss button, or mark them as read.

For users with billing access (providers, administrators, practice managers, and billing specialists), the dashboard displays a revenue section that includes the data also available in the billing reports:

  • Collected revenue for the current month: total net payments received
  • Projected monthly revenue (MRR): the sum of all active membership monthly prices
  • Month-over-month change: a percentage showing whether revenue increased or decreased compared to last month
  • Collection progress: a progress bar showing how much of the projected revenue has been collected so far

The panel overview section breaks down your active memberships by type:

  • Individual memberships (single-member)
  • Couple memberships (two members)
  • Family memberships (three or more members)
  • Total active memberships and total active patients

At the bottom of the dashboard, a recent activity feed shows the last ten actions recorded in your practice’s audit log. Each entry displays:

  • What happened (for example, “New patient enrolled” or “Payment received”)
  • A color indicator for the type of event
  • How long ago the event occurred

This feed gives you a quick sense of what has been happening in your practice without needing to open the full audit log.

The dashboard content adapts based on your team role:
